Exchange, Replacement, and Return Policy

We hope that your are as delighted with every piece you purchase from the Village Goldsmith, Inc. as we are when creating it; but if you are discontented with any item we want to quickly correct the problem.  Regarding our jewelry that is in-stock we will gladly replace, exchange, or alter the dissatisfactory item to better suit the paradigm of your inclination.  

Just a few things to note:

  • All jewelry must be fully paid for before leaving the studio. No credit extended. 

  • We do not allow returns on wedding rings (We stand behind our jewelry, we don't guarantee the wedding.)

  • All sales on our pre-owned, custom, and personalized jewelry are final.

  • A full refund for the amount paid for a piece must be arranged prior to the return.  

Before making a return, to expedite the process, please contact us so we may better prepare to make this transaction as efficient and effortless as possible. 

Inventory Jewelry 

Jewelry that you have purchased in our studio or from our website must be returned to the store within 25 days of purchase for replacement or exchange.  Please return the piece in its original packaging, unworn, unused, and in original/saleable condition. We will also require the sales receipt and all information received with the initial jewelry purchase.  

Please note that certain alterations may deem an in-stock piece non-returnable.

Custom Jewelry 

Jewelry which you custom design cannot be exchanged or returned. 

This sounds much more intimidating than it really is.  There are many steps in our process for making your custom jewelry, review the process here, thus we will finalize a project exactly the way you envisioned it.

If you are shipping to us utilizing the United States Postal Service please address your package to our PO Box.  If utilizing FedEx or UPS please address your package to our physical street address. We recommend shipping with an overnight or two-day service with tracking information as well as insurance.  

All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

Please enclose the piece in it's original packaging with all information you received with the purchase i.e. appraisals, diamond certificates, et cetera.  Also, include your name, phone number, and email address so we may contact you when we receive your package.
